Like most energy consumers, our client’s dairy farm in Kaikoura was facing high energy consumption and rising power costs.
Our solution is fit-for-purpose solar energy system to help them take control back.
We installed a 42kW solar array with an east-west split to target the high energy use periods of early morning & late afternoon (coinciding with milking times).
The solar arrays are paired with a 30kW three phase grid-tied inverter, meaning any surplus generation is able to be exported to the grid.
