Roxburgh Community Pool

For many years, residents of Roxburgh have been working to raise funds and support to upgrade their community swimming pool – and in 2023, their dedicated efforts have come to life, with a state of the art facility, now completed and operational.

Infinite Energy were appointed to design and install a truly innovative, one of a kind solar energy solution. The install consists of a large ground mounted solar array, which is housed on a bespoke engineered frame to create a comfortable, shaded seating area around the pool edge. The “dual glass” solar panels allow some natural light to wash through the panels ensuring the seating area is cool, but not dark – and the energy that the system produces provides power to the pool heating and pump room. The result is an incredible asset that will benefit the Teviot Community for generations to come, without having to worry about the cost of electricity.
