Infinite Energy is a family owned company established in 2013 to specialise in the design and installation of Solar PV, renewable energy solutions. We specialise in solar power technologies for home and business, which encompass grid connected systems, grid tied hybrid with battery back up, through to entirely off-grid (stand alone) systems.

From day one our aim has been to make solar more accessible, more desirable and more simple for our customers – we love going to work each day to make the world a better place… one roof at a time!
The residential market has been a core part of our business in the past – and is where our teams have gained a lot of experience working with different brands and products. We have completed many systems on award winning architectural homes, passive houses and properties from tiny houses to luxury lodges.
Our commercial clients include NIWA – with a 20kW installation at the Lauder Atmospheric Research Centre, University of Otago and many small – medium enterprises.
Infinite Energy have also installed renewable energy solutions into New Zealand schools, horticulture, agriculture, manufacturing, engineering, hospitality and tourism ventures.
Design and planning is critical to delivering off-grid systems that are fit for purpose. Infinite Energy undertake a thorough process to determine total energy requirements, particularly ‘peak’ energy requirements (kWp) and design systems according to each specific need. Our experienced design team and installation team work together to deliver fit for purpose off-grid systems – coupling latest inverters, battery chargers, lithium battery technology and back up generators.

He was helpful, honest and on point with everything we needed to know. On the day of the install the guys turned up at 8am and we were up and running by 3pm with the whole setup complete and tidied up by the time I got home from work. I can’t recommend the service enough. We’ve had the system in and running for a couple of weeks now, we’ve seen good weather and bad and the power generated is great even on an off day. The install was fast, clean and tidy – they really do care how the final install looks visually. I think we’re actually going to save more money than initially predicted. This is in part due to the excellent web-based / phone app monitoring that comes with the solar inverter, giving real time usage information as well as generation information. If we ever wanted to increase the size of our system or install solar on another property if we move house, we’d use Infinite Energy again without even considering anyone else.”
